Today, she had a surcingle on and we had attached bouys to it to simulate my legs and get her more familiarized with something hanging on her side.

I noticed that Warm Springs is Paiute country.
I have a mustang I got from the Pyramid Lake Paiute Reservation in Nevada - I named her Amanikya - it means "peaceful, calm".
I call her Nikya. If you are interested in the same name that would be great.
